Bakery Marie Blachère

A lot has changed at this shop. They've really focused on the customer service. I only go on weekends, but I'm always greeted warmly and simply. The display is well-organized, there's a good selection, and the bread is delicious and lasts all week. Plus, the shop finally has air conditioning. It's always a pleasure to go there.

Disappointed with the set menu; the ham and bread sandwich didn't even have butter, salad, or tomato. I don't recommend it.

Unfriendly, poorly served, slow. It felt like we were bothering her.

The service was so-so; they rushed us to choose even though there was only one other person there, and they gave us an inedible baguette that was as hard as concrete. I won't be going back.

I bought a pavlova yesterday. What a disappointment! The meringue isn't cooked at all inside.

I won't be going back there. I waited fifteen minutes because the waitress decided to joke around with her colleagues instead of serving her customers.

Stopped by this morning to get "breakfast" for my colleagues. I ordered 3 chocolate croissants, which, like everywhere else, gives us 4 (thanks to the 3+1 offer). When I got to work, SURPRISE! 3 = 3 at Marie Blachère, not 3+1. Either the person who served me was incompetent, or it's false advertising. Or maybe you have to claim the promotion to get it applied? In any case, I'll go to Cerise or Louise in the future. At least they never forget the promotion there... Plus, the chocolate croissants were quite small and overcooked for my taste...
